September 11, 2001

The United States is Attacked by al-Qaeda Terrorists

On this day in 2001, 19 al-Qaeda terrorsts hijacked four passenger jets, crashed two of them into the World Trade Center building and one into the Pentagon. The fourth was crashed into a field in Pennsylvania by the terrorists when passengers decided to fight back.
