Jackie Robinson Debuts for the Brooklyn Dodgers
On this day in 1947, Jackie Robinson ends 60 years of segregation in baseball.
Robinson went on to have an exception baseball career, playing on six World Series teams. He was inducted into the
Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
